AirAsia review – what to expect for this Asian low cost carrier? by NeverNotFlying.
I had a decent flight on Thai AirAsia. I travelled from Bali, Indonesia to Bangkok, Thailand (Bali Denpasar – Bangkok Donmuang) and chose this flight because it was both the cheapest option to travel between Bali and Bangkok and the most convenient – it was a direct flight. Flying to Bangkok Donmuang (DMK) in steat of flying to Bangkok BKK is not ideal, as DMK is very much an airport for low-cost carriers. Which is not bad in itself, but I do prefer to fly via BKK.
The food on this flight (watch the video to see how it looked) didn’t look that great, though tasted OK. It was not the best airplane food I’ve had, but also far from the worst. I know that’s not a raving review, but OK.
My ticket was a revenue ticket, meaning I paid money. I booked online, but can’t remember what I paid exactly. I was the cheapest way to get from Bali, Indonesia to Bangkok, Thailand though.
