Questions & Answers

I often get questions in the comments section of my video’s on YouTube. So in stead of answering them there, every single time, I thought I’d save myself some work, and make all the answers available to you here!

Question: What is your job? Are you rich? Why do you fly so much?
Answer: No, I’m definately not rich. I fly mostly as a hobby. But I am trying to make a job out of – what could be better then making a living from you hobby, right? So any and all support, by becoming a patron via Patreon, shopping at Amazon via one the links I’ve provided, or even just looking at an Ad before my videos start on YouTube (do you use adblock? support me at Patreon for just $1 and watch my videos guilt-free) is greatly appreciated!

Question: Can I get some stickers?
Answer: Yes, you can! I’ve set up an account with Patreon (click here), a crowd-funding-type platform, where you can support NeverNotFlying. When you support me at the $3 level, I’ll send you some stickers! There are different levels, with different rewards. I’m thinking about adding different stickers and possibly T-shirts. Please let me know what you think about that in the comments below.

Question: Are you Dutch?
Answer: Yes.

Question: What’s that phone-holder-thingy you use?
Answer: That’s a suctioncup made by Joby, and phone-holder, also made by Joby.

Question: What camera do you use?
Answer: My main camera is a Canon G7X, I also use my iPhone 6 and sometimes a GoPro.

  1. Hi,

I have just found your videos on youtube and I operate a small boutique travel agency in Brisbane Australia. I was wondering would you mind if I shared the videos on my facebook page or suggested my clients visit your website as I think it is very important that clients have biased free way of checking out airlines.

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Best regards,

    Craig Fyfe

  2. So I understand you fly as a hobby. But how do you afford your first class trips miles? Special programs? cheap tickets? Job? Thanks btw great videos:)

    1. Thanks for the compliment! I try to make a priority of traveling. Some people have other (expensive) hobbies, mine if flying. That combined with optimizing frequent flyer & hotel loyalty programmes makes it financially possible. Also, the odd cheap ticket a.k.a. error fare, and such. I’ll be publishing more articles about the ‘how do you do it’ on the site, so please do come back. Also, like my facebook-page to be updated on new content, thanks 🙂
